“Destiny’s Chase” Book Project
My involvement in this project included the writing of the manuscript, the design of the book cover concept, the design of the book’s inner pages, the oversight of the e-book design, producing and directing the book trailer, producing an author video, and producing an author photoshoot.
book cover design
I conceptualized the initial design, which was then further developed and actualized by a book cover illustrator. This romantic design style was conceived to appeal to the book’s primary demographic of supernaturally oriented females.
book trailer
This ambitious video was produced on a micro budget, shot in a single day, with a skeletal crew. It required significant costume design, extensive VFX, and a complex post-production process.
author video
This video was designed to integrate with the design elements of the other materials. This required the identification of a rococo inspired location, and clothes styling.
author photoshoot
I designed this photoshoot to be inspired by the style traits of the other materials. This required finding a location that was suitably romantic, and liaising with a fashion designer who could provide haute couture gowns. These photographs were used in promotional materials, and within the book design.
