“Destiny’s Chase” Book Project
This project included: the writing of the book’s manuscript, design of book cover and company logo, design of inner layout, oversight of e-book creation, producing of a themed author photoshoot, and creation of a powerful book trailer.
BOOK DESIGN
I designed the initial concept for the book cover, which was later actualized and further developed by a talent book cover illustrator. The goal was to create a look and feel which would appeal to the book’s demographic of supernaturally inclined females.
Book Trailer
I produced and directed a book trailer, which involved significant costume design, VFX, and post-production. This video was created for a micro budget, which required tremendous resourcefulness. It was shot in a single day, with a skeletal crew.
AUTHOR VIDEO
I produced and styled an author video which was designed to fit in with the stylistic traits of the other book elements. This involved finding a suitable rococo decorated location, and selecting appropriate clothing.
CREATION OF THEMED PHOTOSHOOT
In order to promote the launch of the book I designed a themed photoshoot. This involved the conceptualizing of the shoot, and selection of the location and clothing. These images were later used in publicity materials and the book design.
